Goal: $50,000 Per Month By New Years 2009!

How's that for a radical New Years resolution?

Can you sponsor ONE person per month and have that duplicate within your group each month? Then by this time next year -- January 2009 -- you will have 4176 people in your downline. If each person is on the $255 autoship, your check will be more than $50,000 per month!!

Too good to be true, you say? It's mathematically correct, as Dan mentioned on today's call about the Zrii Prosperity Plan. You may be skeptical that this duplication is possible. ok, cut that in half. Get just one person every other month and have each person in your dowline do the same and you'd be at $26,000 per month! half again would yield $12K per month at the end of next year!

Personally I like that as a very realistic, very do-able goal... and I challenge you to make this your New Year's Resolution too -- $12,000 per month by this time next year. Our monthly goal will be for us to recruit one person per month and help each of them do the same.

So repeat after me -- I (your name), share Kathy's goal to be earning $12,000 per month or MORE by December 2008.

I can't wait to get started. Call me, let's be success partners for each other in reaching this very do-able and highly desirable goal! Financial freedom is within reach!

Silly saying, but it's true. Think about it. Take Rocky for instance. Broke and at the bottom of the barrel. Eye of the tiger focus as he dukes his way to the top. Fill in the blank and its fits for so many success stories.

So as you think about this as it relates to where you are with your mlm business, take heart. Perhaps you are saying "I am a disaster about approaching people with this business opportunity." (...or cold calling, or time management, or following up... whatever is plaguing you.)

EXCELLENT! You are ripe for a success story after a bit of "eye of the tiger" action.

With a bit of determination, persistence and training you are already on your way to making it to the top of the library stairs... or whatever image you choose for success.

I Won't Do THAT Again!

I just got back from 10 days on the road. My day job is as an event planner (this will be changing!) I had packed 3 sample bottles of Zrii to cover my personal consumption and gave two of them away... so I only had 3 ounces of Zrii over the last 10 days. I, a very healthy and active gal, have been experiencing real withdrawal symptoms! Couldn't wait to get home and get my fix. You can just about FEEL it working as your body says "ah, thanks I needed that!"

Next time I'll double pack!

We Do Not See the World As It Is

...and do you know how we are? Zrii IE's are excited! We are "tapped in, tuned in, turned on" (as Abraham would say). We are in the flow and so grateful to have found this amazing opportunity that resonates with us and gives us a way to grow on so many levels.

The more we align ourselves in a natural way to our mission -- sharing abundance with the world in two ways with Zrii, both in its wellness and its prosperity plan -- the easier this becomes. We are attracting like-minded folks to us. Others who are positive (no nay-sayers here!) We are building a new life for ourselves with these powerful folks, all attracting more and more people into our lives with that common vision.

I see it with people the first day they come on. We are all magnets. Opportunities present themselves that were never there before. Connections come. People open up. Thoughts are exchanged. It's amazing!

What Do You Do?

What do you do? This has to be one of the most frightening questions for newbie network marketers to answer, and a challenging one for the most polished of networkers to answer effectively.

Here is a great entry from Michael Oliver. He is a best selling author of "How to Sell Network Marketing Without Fear, Anxiety or Losing Your Friends." He also has a great newsletter you can sign up for at his site www.NaturalSelling.com.

Here is the excerpt and his approach to natural selling when posed with the "What Do You Do" question.

"When asked, 'what do you do?' do one of these two things:
You say too little? Such as answering with the title of your job description... I sell health products, I work with a nutritional marketing company, or whatever you do and then hoping the other person will want to know more?


You say too much and start talking about your story or your business? This can be a mistake as well because people are generally not interested in what you do and will tune out unless there is something they have a personal association with based on their own present moment needs.

One of the most magnetic ways I know of attracting people to you, is not to tell people what you do, but let them know HOW what you do, helps people. And this is where your personal introduction comes into its own!

It has a variety of uses, and can be adapted to all sorts of situations such as cold calling and talking about your products that you can find more about in my book.

So here is how you can reply to the question “What do you do?”

"You know how people nowadays are finding it harder to get ahead, what with corporate uncertainty, the lack of job security and the higher cost of living?"

"Well, what I do is, help them set up their own business, so they can start taking care of themselves and their families once again."
"Let me ask you – what do you do?"


Or you could also ask; “have you experienced anything like this?”

This will paint a picture of how what you do helps others. The very essence of Natural Selling!
Your reply focuses on some challenges that are in the world that most people are aware of and can easily identify with and it demonstrates your purpose, which is to help other people solve these challenges. It is also a focused reply. It demands you understand what you do in the context of helping others.


Now if a person identifies with this, do you think they are likely to want to know more? Most probably "Yes!" And do you want to tell them? Yes, of course you do. Do you want to do it now? You can if you want, but then what would you be doing . . . presenting what you think they should hear, because you don’t have any reference point about them.

So my suggestion is wait. Find out more about them and who they are so that you can customize your answer. That’s why you ask the question, “What do you do?” at the end of your explanation. Asking a question like this is an invitation for them to participate in a dialogue about who? Themselves.

By stating how what you do helps others, you will create a good impression and it’s cemented by turning the conversation on to them. And remember, it’s all in the questions. Contrary to the popular opinion that as long as you’re talking, you’re in control, the opposite is true. You actually control the conversation by letting go of your need to speak. Ask questions instead.

The Mechanics Of The Personal Introduction
Let me give you the mechanics for creating your own introduction. Comprised of three parts: problem, solution, question – here is how it works:


1. Problem
Start your reply with the phrase, "You know how..." and tag on to it the generic problems that your business opportunity can solve, problems that everyone can relate to. There are many problems and challenges in the world. Being a problem solver, your job is to discover how your solutions can solve them. Problems such as:
* Job downsizing
* Lack of job security
* Higher cost of living
* High taxes
* Long travel time to work
* Low income
* Lack of free time
* Finding it harder to make and keep money


2. Solution
Demonstrate how what you do helps people solve these problems. The key here is to use simple language, not clichés, or Network Marketing industry language such as residual income, time-freedom, time leveraging to name a few. These words have very little meaning to most people and can appear as if you're trying to sell something.


You can start this part with, "Well, what I do is help people," and then continue with:
“Start their own part-time businesses.”
“Get their lives back in control.”
“Have time to spend with their families.”
“Do the things they want to do.”
“Develop another income.”
“Replace their present job.”


3. Question
Ask a question to turn the focus back on the other person to start the process of exploring and uncovering whether they might have similar problems that need solving.
Keep it low key. The power of your response comes from using simple everyday language that everyone understands, without jumping out of the gate and hitting them with your solutions.

Power Recruiting for Business Builders

To build your business strong out of the starting blocks you need to focus first on recruiting others who are looking to build a business. This includes others who have been involved in network marketing or are considered business opportunity seekers.

The main idea in the Power Recruiting method is...
To remember you are not selling anything.
You are looking for your 3 dedicated business builders.
You are interviewing them. You are sorting, rather than convincing.

Simply talk to lots of people everyday.
Keep it short, simple and to the point. Be the messenger, not the message.
Let the tools work for you – the website, the dvds, the sizzle calls.
The people who are pro-active and seek out the information are the ones you want on your team.

Most people pitch product or opportunity.
92% of the population is sales-resistant. (I know I am!!)
People just don't want to sell or be sold.
You don’t want to sell someone on the idea. They either get it or they don’t… and if they don’t they’re not going to stick it out anyway.

The key is to talk to lots of people everyday. How?

Hate to say it, but of the best ways to do this is to call from a list of network marketers. I will send you a list FREE! And a phone script FREE!

It’s a numbers game. Presenting the opportunity to people on the phone will help you to build your confidence when speaking to people face-to-face, and it may just reveal a golden egg for you!

Do 100 dials and you'll talk to 30 people.
Out of those, 10 will say yes to looking.
Out of those, 3 or 4 will actually do it.
And out of those, 1 or 2 will sign up. Probably a lot more with Zrii.


100 dials can be done in 2 hours. Break that up over a day or over a week, however you like.

Can you imagine enrolling 1 or 2 people a week from this one approach alone, and having leaders in your downline duplicating that?

It's very doable. Everything is in place.

Commit yourself to a 90-Day Blitz using this approach of 2 hours a day, and you’d be set for financial freedom!

Win At The Numbers Game

My million dollar mentor put it this way to me “You just need 3 people to make you rich, earning $50K - $100K/month. Just 3 people! The challenge is: you never know who those 3 people are going to be. It’s not always the ones who come out of the starting gate going gangbusters. It just might be someone who is quiet for the first 6 months and then catches on fire! You may have to recruit 100 people into your business to find those three. You might get lucky. They might be among the first 10 you sign up, but they might not.”

You will get rich if you recruit 100 people. It’s just a matter of time in how long it will take you to find 100 people. If you get one per week, in two years your destiny is made! Others take the 90-day Blitz approach with a goal to sign up 8 or 9 per week! It really doesn’t matter – the math is the same.

You never know which is the Golden Egg. Don’t take it personally if someone you are speaking with about the opportunity is not open to it. Perhaps it’s not the right time for them. Just go on to the next. There are plenty of people who will jump on this opportunity!

Many, many, many fish in the Zrii Sea!

What Does It Take to Earn $10,000 Per Month?

You will never become rich by exchanging time for money. You must find a way of “leveraging” your income. Network Marketing is one of the absolute best ways of doing just that. You’ll hear that this industry has produced more millionaires than any other industry around.

You’ll also hear that 97% of the people who try network marketing fail. Why? I believe for a number of reasons. Perhaps the most important one is that in our instant gratification society, they are looking for the get rich next month scheme (closely akin to the “lose 10 lbs next week for Christmas” scheme)… just not possible.

But if you understand the compensation plan and set realistic goals for yourself, this becomes downright SIMPLE! I actually have two goal numbers in mind for myself, one as a 3-year “financial freedom” vision and one a shorter term, within-the-year goal of earning $10,000 per month with my Zrii business. So what does it take to attain numbers like that?

In the Zrii Prosperity Plan, it’s nicknamed the “Get 3 and You’re Free” plan. It’s as simple as getting 3 people and teaching them to do the same. That’s all you need to focus on… get 3 people! 3 people who share that vision of financial freedom with you and are willing to do the same. Get 3 people.

The numbers grow exponentially… 3 people who get 3 people becomes 9, then 27, then 81, into 243… and then the jumps become more interesting… 729 to 2187 to 6561… and stick it out you’ll see 19683…and then…!

Dave Vass, an IE with Zrii, put it in a timeline: if each person can get their 3 people in the first month, your business would grow like this:
1 month = 3
2 month= 9
3 month= 27
4 month= 81
5 month= 243
6 month= 729...right here you are now earning $8000-$12000 a month
7 month= 2187
8 month= 6561
9 month= 19683...now you make well over $200,000 a month

Ok, I find that a bit ambitious but certainly within 1-2 months you should be able to get 3 people, and they can get 3 within their first 1-2 months (because you’ll help them!) So my goal of $10,000 per month is achievable within the first year! And is for you as well.

Goal 1: Get those 3 business builders
Goal 2: Put in place on-going recruiting efforts to continue building your business and you cannot fail.

Create a Vision Bigger Than Your Fears

I’ve never stolen anything, but I am stealing this. It’s a book I borrowed from the Denver Public Library by Joe Rubino called The 7-Step System to Building a $1,000,000 Network Marketing Dynasty…and the catchy subtitle “How to Achieve Financial Independence through Network Marketing.”

His 7 steps begin with one –
Create a Vision Greater Than Your Fear.

As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve taken the last month (and counting) to learn, learn, learn…all I can on network marketing and internet marketing and attaining financial freedom. Certain patterns appear… all these teachings on success begin with finding a vision.

I’d like to share mine. I have been in marketing for 20 years now, and developed a wonderful and most enjoyable niche of planning and executing hi-profile corporate events around sports marketing events such as golf tournaments or tennis tournaments. Made-for-tv events, great locations, meeting highly successful celebs and pros, and being well compensated for my efforts. As of late, I’ve been wanting a way to plug into something to help others in some way. Tie into my bigger passions of health and wellness and spiritual growth… Law of Attraction type success tools.

Zrii is a GREAT fit! But a funny thing, as I look further into the network marketing model and what it takes to succeed, the more I see it ties into my desire to help others grow both professionally, personally and spiritually.


Here is the excerpt from my journal:

“Zrii – it’s transformed our lives and today is the day of our celebratory bbq. It would have been a housewarming/welcome/thank you party 3 months ago, but as timing would have it, we moved in 1 week before our 3-1/2 week trip to New Zealand and Australia. Yet more dreams come true! My sweetie will share one of his stellar picture shows he’s famous for. There must be nearly 100 folks coming – our extended Zrii family who we’ve grown so much with, my original “Ask & It Is Given” book club, our mountain biking gang and his family who is about to grow by one here soon!

The journey with Zrii has been a whirlwind. After a couple of months learning the opportunity and developing on-gong leads generation, the flood gates opened! Wide! In true Law of Attraction Style, I seemed to attract into my life only those who saw the true potential in this opportunity. I was selective in who I chose to work with, knowing my emphasis would be on mentoring. What a joy! Seeing these people’s dreams become reality, seeing them in turn growing into leaders of their own both professionally and spiritually.

No telling how many lives this group has helped to transform with Zrii! And looking back, it’s been fun and easy. Everyone I attract to the business is enthusiastic and has true conviction. They share my vision – this is a gift we are sharing with others. I am taped in, tuned in, turned on! Every day! It’s a joy! And I’m so proud of my team!

I’ve used some of the money to develop other sources of income too. Heck, my real estate alone is worth more than a million dollars! It seems a joyous cycle. The more I make, the more I give away, and the more I make again! I’ve been able to help my sisters develop a stream of income that they are passionate about.”

…and I go on to describe in feeling detail my ideal house, the meditation garden I donated to my church, how I am now sought after to speak on the Art of Deliberate Creation and also Optimal Health and Wellness, and how I have touched so many people’s lives.

If you’ve seen the Secret, you know they say you must FEEL what it is you seek to attract into your life. And the books I’ve read echo this. I now read my vision of my ideal life twice a day – once upon waking and then again before I go to bed when it can sink into my powerful subconscious mind.

Simple. Powerful!

So I am issuing this challenge to you: Find Your Ideal Life. A life driven by passion. Your passion. Think big. How much do you choose to earn? How will you affect the lives of many, many, many others? How does this make you feel?

Tip: Write it down, and make it in the present tense. Something you already possess. Include the details answering these questions:

* What will you have?
* Where will you live? With whom?
* What kind of house, cars and possessions will you have?
* What will you earn?
* What will every aspect of your life look like?
* What will you do?
* What hobbies will you pursue?
* Will you travel?
* How would your ideal day be spent?
* Who will you be? For what qualities will you be known?
* What impact will you have on others and the world?
* Who will you contribute to and how?
* What legacy will you leave behind?
* If all of your finances and day-to-day challenges were handled, what would you do?
* How would you choose to live the next 100 years of your life, if you could?

Read this twice a day, and I promise you will start to see signs of this life coming into reality before your very eyes. It’s truly amazing!! I would love to hear from you on how this works in your life.

...ok, I've been off for a while.

Truth is, as a first-time network marketer I wasn't exactly comfortable with the notion that I had to build a business from my "warm" market, bugging friends and family. I went off to study the business of network marketing, find out why it is that 97% who buy into the dream ultimately fail and how one is to avoid such a destiny. The frightening reality is: most people fail after just 3 months after having brought 2 or 3 others into the business. Obviously, they do not understand the longer-term vision of how to build this business or how to find the right type of person to attract into the business.

The professional marketer in me nagged for the true reason behind this.
